What You Can Expect

You will be relied upon to work with project teams to assess delays and increased costs on construction projects. Members of the Lighthouse team travel to project sites, help prepare expert reports and testimony, and support attorneys and clients in trial and other forms of dispute resolution. Our team members are self-starters and problem solvers.

Common Activities for Associates:

  • Organize and prepare data for efficient analysis
  • Prepare detailed, comprehensive work product for incorporation into client deliverables
  • Assist in the analysis of project schedules in support of expert analysis
  • Assist in the analysis of project costs in support of expert analysis
  • Research project documents to investigate relevant project issues
  • Manage time appropriately to meet client deadlines
  • Travel for client meetings and projects
  • Manage large sets of data in Excel and/or Access for analysis
  • Assist with client proposals and other business development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business, finance or accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Qualifications We Value:

  • Internship(s) or co-op(s) in construction industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with construction scheduling programs (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
