Lighthouse Consulting Group adds David Mantel in Denver – expands heavy civil and infrastructure expertise
ATLANTA, June 2, 2022 – Lighthouse Consulting Group, an Atlanta-based consulting firm focused on expert testimony and project advisory services for construction and engineering projects and disputes around the world, is pleased to announce the addition of David Mantel, a former Senior Project Manager for a leading heavy civil contractor. Mr. Mantel will be based in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Mantel joins Lighthouse as a Senior Manager and supplements the depth of real-world experience and subject matter expertise at the core of Lighthouse’s construction and engineering consulting practice, bringing his more than 25 years of project management and leadership on large and complex heavy civil and infrastructure projects throughout North America.
Together with Lighthouse’s Los Angeles office, the addition of Mr. Mantel in Denver continues Lighthouse’s strategic growth in the western United States.
With a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Mr. Mantel spent the last 25 years working for leading North American heavy civil contractors where he managed every phase of major infrastructure projects. Mr. Mantel has substantial experience and expertise in critical path scheduling and delay analysis, cost tracking and project accounting, assessment of productivity losses, quantification of damages, change order management, differing site condition impacts, and the development of requests for equitable adjustments and claims for time and costs.
Mr. Mantel has managed all aspects of project execution, including estimating, preconstruction, design coordination and management, construction management, critical path scheduling, cost tracking and controls, progress reporting, quality, safety, client and stakeholder coordination, and change management. His deep industry experience includes state and federal government contracts for roads, bridges, levees, locks, privately owned toll roads, marine construction, and mass transit. Mr. Mantel has managed and executed projects using various project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, EPC, CM at Risk, P3, and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI).
