Lighthouse Consulting Group expands forensic accounting and economic damages services with the addition of Lizette Martinez (CPA, CFE, CFF) in Los Angeles

ATLANTA, September 4, 2021 — Lighthouse Consulting Group, an Atlanta-based consulting firm focused on expert testimony and project advisory services for construction and engineering projects and disputes around the world, is pleased to announce the addition of Lizette Martinez, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), based in Los Angeles, California.

Ms. Martinez joins Lighthouse as a Vice President and compliments Lighthouse’s core construction and engineering consulting practice by supplementing the firm’s damages and forensic accounting expertise and services, including project and job cost compliance and audits, government contracts support and assistance, false claims and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) issues and investigations, and certified cost compliance. Ms. Martinez also expands Lighthouse’s economic and accounting services into the broader practice areas of economic damages, financial consulting, bankruptcy support and litigation, and financial fraud and misconduct investigations. The addition of Ms. Martinez in Los Angeles also establishes a base of operations for Lighthouse in the important markets of California and the western United States as part of Lighthouse’s continued strategic growth in North America.

Ms. Martinez joins Lighthouse with over 23 years of experience in accounting, business, and litigation consulting. Her experience includes construction, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, forensic investigations, government contracts, higher education, entertainment, international arbitrations, and financial services. Ms. Martinez has extensive experience analyzing claims and disputes involving cost impacts, fraudulent expense transactions, economic damages, and breach of contract damages. Ms. Martinez has analyzed and quantified lost or diminished product sales and other lost revenue, loss of business value, diminution of future revenue prospects, increased costs, avoided costs, cost of capital, stock price fluctuations based on market conditions, and costs or losses associated with mitigation efforts. Ms. Martinez is a native Spanish speaker.

Ms. Martinez is joined in Lighthouse’s Los Angeles practice by Kyle Dalrymple. Mr. Dalrymple has extensive experience in the evaluation, review, and preparation of claims related to economic damages in various industries and delays and impacts on construction projects. Mr. Dalrymple has worked with owners, contractors, and team members across North America to analyze and quantify impacts and damages resulting from changed conditions, defective specifications, regulatory changes, increased project scope, acceleration, constructive changes, differing site conditions, delay, and disruption.
